Thanks to the Leys School, Cambridge for providing their pool and a lifeguard!

Les is aiming to swim 200 lengths of a 25 metre pool (that's five kilometres, maths fans!) in under 2 hours.
The more modest 'athlete' Barnaby is aiming for 100 lengths (two and a half kilometres) in 1½ hours.
