"I've emerged from the pool safe, but a tad knackered. Managed to plough on through the whole 100 without stopping, notching up a time of 1 hour 29 minutes and 46 seconds. I'm so chuffed!"

"It was a fairly uneventful one - silence in the pool until around the fortieth length when the sound system kicked in and we got a blast of Madonna's greatest hits. Still, by the 90th I was singing along to Like A Prayer..."
